Radscorpions Cave

Description - Tutorial

(Skippable, but you will miss experience points if you decide not to go through with it. If you decide to skip tutorial you will be asked to do the radscorpion cave anyway).

Kenny will ask you to make primitive tools. First you need to find a flint. Then press F, choose primitive tools on your list and press "fix" . Yay, your first 5 experience points! He will then ask you to bring him some wood. Just click on any nearby tree while having primitive tool in your inventory. Yay, another 10 experience points! You're on the roll now, man! Return to Kenny. Give him the wood. Kenny will make a pickaxe for you. You will receive 250 experience points for finishing up quick tutorial and then Kenny will send you on your first epic quest - the radscopion cave.

Kenny saved your life so you offered to repay him by killing radscorpions in a nearby cave. Bring him the claw of the biggest one as a proof of your awesomeness.

Despite of what has been said in the quest you only have to kill one radscorpion - the biggest one, of course. After you enter the cave go south, you will be attacked by some small radscorpions which you should easily kill using Hatchet or Primitive tool. On Soth you will find dead orphan boy, loot him - you will get 8 healing powders that might be useful in this place, you can also get his knife that lies next to him, don't use the knife though as this weapon doesn't have the close combat perk and thus hitting with it on your level will be quite hard. South done? Go north, kill some more scorpions, on your way up you will find another body and in that body there will be Primitive Tool and 2x Antidote, you might use the antidote if you feel it necessary. Go futher north clearing the small radscorpions in the process till you get to your true enemy - the big scorpion (remember to take his claw after slaying it). You should be able to easily handle him. Loot another body and get your first armor, leather jacket. Be careful - don't stand on green go as it's both deals damage and radiate you. Go back to Kenny, for next quest and some rewards.

Rewards

After killing the big bad radscorpion and bringing its claws to Kenny you'll get:

• 500 experience points.
• 450 caps.
• 4x antidote.
• You unlock another of Kenny's quest.

Note: There's also few trees in the area which you can cut. Free wood!

The Cave

• 1 - A big radscorpion.
• c1 & k - There's knife on the ground near the skeleton. If you search the body, you'll find 8 healing powders.
• c2 - A melted body with primitive tools and 2x antidote.
• c3 - Some body containing a Leather Jacket.
