This Special Encounter is very similar to Smoking Ruins except this time in place of dead Brotherhood members and sealed bunker you will find a caravan camp and accessible bunker. Quite the improvement huh?

First of all you should know about very interesting and unique fact, the NPC's here won't be shooting you on sight! That's indeed very rare and offer you a chance to make a plan before action.

Second of all after you enter the location you can talk to the Caravan Leader placed near the entrance to the bunker, you can trade with him - he doesn't have anything super interesting though. After you're done, go inside the bunker, there is a box protected by lock pick. If you manage to lockpick it, inside you will find a Brotherhood Armor. When you will try to leave the Bunker, annoying caravan leader will demand from you armor that you just looted, claiming its their loot. Now you have several options: you can hand it over (Laaaaameeee), you can try to kill the NPC's there, or you can try to run away with your precious loot.

You can also try to lie, that you hadn't found nothing interesting there, make sure you don't have this armor geared on you though! ("Armor? What Armor, nope sir, i doesn't have it"). You got about 50% chance to suceed in lying, if you menage to convince caravan leader that you haven't found anything worth of notice there you won't have to fight.

Choice is yours. If you have game set in turn based mode and you have some gear and experience i would say you have some decent chances against NPC's here. If not - then you should definitely try to run away. If the game is set in the real time mode, then whole encounter will be a lot more tricky. Caravan guards are strong and are well armed.

If you decide to go for confrontation you will have option of looting several items in this location. This is usually quite nice loot so it might be worth of doing. In one of containers in the left tent there is Strange Holodisk an item for unfinished quest.

To sum up: this is one of toughest special encounters in the game, but reward is also one of the most interesting ones. There is not many Brotherhood Armors in the game, many person failed on completing this special encounter. Remember that if you menage to finish it off you just did something that not many people ever did.
