Description

Talk to Jack about his impressive weapon selection. He will tell you a story about his warehouse. Go to the new location that Jack marked on your PipBoy worldmap and deal with the drifters.

Note: You need to be at least level 8 to activate this quest.
Note: You will see this quest dialogue option only after you talk to Jack for the second time.

Points of interest

Jack's warehouse

  • 1 - Drifters' Leader - talking to him will decide about the fate of this people. Well, actually you will, but whatever.
  • B(!) - A nicely hidden bottle of Booze.
  • c - Container with random loot. Sometimes nice guns spawns here, with really good crafting bonuses.

A peaceful solution

You've managed to convince the drifters to leave the warehouse without using force. Head back to Jack.

Go talk to the first squatter you encounter. Choose all of the peaceful dialogue options and then at the end of the conversation pick the line where you scare them by pointing out that you're very skilled with weapons (for this you need a gun in your inventory as well as a high enough skill with small guns, big guns or energy weapons; 172% was enough when i was doing it). This will scare the drifters and make them promise to leave the warehouse. Having a high strength can also do the trick. Report back to Jack and receive your reward. Congratulation you're a nice guy.

Actually there's also an option of briebing the Drifters but since it costs caps no one ever had choosen it.

Reward

  • 2500 caps.
  • 3000 experience.

An aggressive solution

Using your supreme negotiation skills, you have managed to convince every drifter to leave the warehouse, straight to the afterlife. Return to Jack.

If you come too close to the drifters, they will attack you. If you choose any of the aggressive lines in the dialogue options, they will attack you. If you feel like slaughtering them then go ahead and attack. There's plenty of squatters there, and for killing all of them you'll earn around 2090 experience points. Killing them can be a challenge though, since all of them will attack you at the same time. In order to complete this quest you will need to kill few childs too - bad style bro, bad style.

Rewards

  • 1500 experience from Jack
  • 1500 bottle caps.
  • -300 karma points.
  • Stuff that drifters carry (see below), and stuff that you can loot from warehouse (check it on "points of interest" section).

  • 2x 10mm SMG
  • 1x Shotgun
  • 1x Hunting Rifle
  • 2x Assault Rifle
  • 1x Desert Eagle .44
  • 1x Combat Shotgun
  • Ammunition for the guns (the faster you kill them the more ammo you'll get).

Close Combat:

  • 3x Brass Knuckles
  • 1x Sledgehammer
  • 1x Spiked Knuckles

Throwing weapons:

  • A few Molotov Cocktails
  • A few Frag Grenades
  • A few Rocks
  • A few Throwing Knives

Miscellaneous:
